The 100 Inventions That Changed Our Lives in the Past 100 Years . . . Including TV, Disposable Diapers, and Beats By Dre?
There's a new list ranking the top 100 inventions that changed our lives in the past 100 years. And the conclusion is . . . they had to reach a little to get to 100.
Sure, the big ones are on there . . . like TVs, computers, smoke detectors, batteries, cell phones, the Internet. And of course . . . the car radio.
But there are also PLENTY of questionable calls . . . like Beats by Dre headphones, the Kindle Fire, and the PlayStation one, two, AND four.
It also includes the Sony Walkman, Sony Discman, and the Sony Watchman portable TV . . . the Palm Pilot . . . Twitter but not Facebook . . . and the Super Nintendo, but not the original Nintendo or the Wii.
A few highlights on the list you might not think of are the lie detector, the aerosol can, the electric can opener, the helicopter, kidney dialysis machines, disposable diapers, pagers, the remote-controlled car, and the Leatherman tool. (Daily Mail)
