I'm not sure how anyone could average more than nine hours of sleep a night . . . unless you're independently wealthy, don't have kids, and never binge-watch shows on Netflix. But even if you could sleep that much . . . don't.
According to a new study, getting TOO MUCH sleep is actually WORSE for you than getting too little sleep.
The researchers found people who slept more than nine hours a night had a higher risk of heart disease, diabetes, and anxiety.
People who slept under six hours also had higher risks of those, but not AS high as the people who slept over nine hours.
The best amount to sleep is between seven and nine hours a night. (MSN)
