Cindy Murray is a Navy nurse stationed in San Diego. In 1976, her mom and dad split up in Denver, and she lost touch with her six-year-old half-brother Bobby. But she never forgot about him.
Over the years, she tried to track him down. But she didn't know where he lived or what he looked like, and there were a ton of "Robert Williamsons" on Facebook.
So a few months ago, she decided to get back in touch with her estranged father . . . and found out Bobby is ALSO in the Navy.
Then one of her coworkers tried to track him down, and found out he was stationed just 300 miles away in central California. And it turned out he'd been searching for her TOO.
So last week, Robert and his wife jumped in the car and drove to San Diego. And on Friday . . . 37 years after they last saw each other . . . Robert and Cindy were finally reunited. They SALUTED each other, and gave each other a huge hug. (10News.com / UTSSanDiego.com)
