By all accounts, 15-year-old Christian Lunsford from Bethany, Oklahoma is a great guy. His father Shane, however, is not.
Last month, Shane was arrested after stealing a woman's purse while she was walking through a CEMETERY. And this isn't the first time Shane's been in jail.
Well, his son Christian recently received $250 in the mail from Shane, who he's not close to. But when he found out about the mugging, he decided the money was probably stolen.
So Christian actually TRACKED DOWN the woman his father robbed, named Tona Herndon. And he arranged to meet up with Tona this past Sunday to give her the money, which he'd planned to use for an upcoming field trip for school.
But things didn't quite turn out the way Christian thought they would. Because when they met in the parking lot of Christian's church, he handed her the cash . . . she thanked him . . . and then gave the money right BACK.
Tona says she was impressed by how thoughtful and honest Christian was, and that the gesture meant more to her than the $250 did. She added, quote, "He gave and I received, and I gave and he received. So it worked out." (News9.com / Huffington Post)
