Gift of Lights - NHMS Winter Wonderland Friday, November 15 - Sunday, January 5, 2014 4:30pm-9:00pm Spanning over two miles, the Gift of Lights is one of the largest displays of holiday lights in New England. It includes several themed displays, such as the 12 Days of Christmas, a jungle scene and a Nativity depiction. The course winds around the outside of the track's grandstands and includes a portion of the NHMS Road Course. The event is open nightly from 4:30 p.m. - 9 p.m. from Nov. 15 - Jan. 5. Operation Santa Claus at Longhorn Steakhouse
As part of its continued commitment to the community, the Concord LongHorn Steakhouse is hosting “Dining for Dollars” events from Dec. 3-5 and Dec. 9-12 benefiting Operation Santa Claus – a non-profit organization run by members of the State Employees’ Association of New Hampshire.
From 4-10 p.m., anyone who dines at LongHorn Steakhouse has the option to donate 10% of their check to the organization, which provides gifts to more than 3,000 New Hampshire children over the holidays in Concord and throughout the state.

Dive In to Splash Week at the Y
Hold onto your floaties, as Splash Week returns to the Concord Family YMCA! With FREE lessons focusing on swimming and safety skills, Splash Week is a fun way for kids ages 6-12 to learn or retain their water safety skills over the winter.
Registration begins December 9, and both morning and afternoon sessions are being offered. These 30-minute classes run Monday through Thursday, December 16-19. All classes are held at the Concord Family YMCA?s downtown facility located at 15 N. State St. Lessons are free to YMCA members and to the general public.
