Merrimack County 4-H Horse Leaders to Host Trick or Treat Trail Ride
October 27 -- The Trick or Treat Trail Ride (ACTHA ride at Bear Brook State Park – Allenstown, NH) is all about treats, no tricks, and lots of fun. The 6-8 mile ride will maneuver through six obstacles along the way – all following a Halloween theme. Prizes in three divisions (open, pleasure, junior), but no one leaves empty handed. Oh, there will be trick or treating on the trail! Support Merrimack County 4-H equestrians and help support equine rescues….all while, having a great time! We encourage riders to come complete with costumes suitable to wear on the trail, as there is a prize for best costume, but judging will take place along the ride so please be safe!
Our enthusiastic group of volunteers is doing everything possible to make this a fantastic ride for all participants. We are extending our Merrimack County New Hampshire 4-H hospitality with both a complimentary continental breakfast and buffet lunch for all riders. How can you top that? Great fun, great trails, great food, new friends --see you there! To sign up and learn more about the ride, go to www.actha.us/events and look for the Trick or Treat Trail Ride on October 27.
